This treatment plant is utilizing diffused aeration system followed by MBR filtration. To protect the direct environment of all odor nuisance MENA-Water got the order to cover the plant and install an odor control system.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid #EEEEEE;padding-left: 10px;margin-left: 15px;background-color: #f7f7f7;width: 190px;border-radius:10px;float: right;\">PROJECT DATA<br \/>\n\u2022 Capacity 14,000 m\u00b3\/day<br \/>\n\u2022 Activated Carbon Filter<br \/>\n\u2022 Duct Work<br \/>\n\u2022 H\u2082S Monitoring\n<\/div>\n<p>Main idea of the project was to direct air, which is released from the activated sludge process, aeration tanks and MBR stream, through an odor control system for neutralization before exhaust. The installed odor control unit is connected with duct work along the aeration tank to collect all the odor released from the treatment process in the STP.
