Specialized equipment like Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is need to reduce the levels of pollutants before biological treatment. This consists of a Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) system <!--more--> that further breaks down the effluents to reach the designated parameters for disposal or reuse.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid #EEEEEE; padding: 4px; float: right; margin-left: 25px; margin-top: -5px;margin-bottom:20px; background-color: #f7f7f7;width:192px;font-weight:bold;border-radius:5px;\">Plant Capacity 4x 75m\u00b3\/d<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #244c8a;\">Slaughtering &amp; Processing Water Treatment <\/span><br \/>\nIn April 2016 MENA-Water accepted this challenge for four sites in the town Al Ain with plants for treating slaughter house wastewater from processing, packaging, equipment cleaning and disinfection <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 20px; margin-bottom: 5px;margin-top:0px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mena-water.eu\/pictures\/AlAin-Slaugterhouses.jpg\" alt=\"Industrial Waste Water\" \/>  with a MENA-Water system for 75m\u00b3\/d for each plant.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #244c8a;\">Scope and Realization <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The complete turnkey design with construction and commissioning was done within 6 months and the four plants were successfully put into operation as scheduled.  Additionally site visits, maintenance and monitoring for the first year of operation was part of the contract.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 20px; margin-bottom: 15px;margin-top:10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mena-water.eu\/pictures\/Alain-slaughter-3.jpg\" alt=\"Industrieabwasser\" \/> All equipment was supplied from approved vendors and complies with strict specifications from the Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company. The limited space constraints required an installation of all this equipment within smallest area of less than 100m\u00b2.<br \/>\nThe whole plant is auto controlled using the total integrated Siemens Automation Platform. All field devices are connected to the PLC using fieldbus protocols to increase the deeper engagement of automatic controls for finer process tuning.
