The Bio Media become carriers that build \ufb02oating bed in the waste water. <!--more--><br \/>\nThe Bio-Film grows on the bio media surface and moves along with the water inside the reactor chamber creating what called the biomass. The biomass will stay inside the reactor treatment tank and is not taken out with the settled sludge.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both;\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/mena-water.eu\/pictures\/container-sewage.jpg\" alt=\"MBBR\" \/> Once submerged inside the bioreactor, the Bio Media operates as non-clogging media moving inside the tank. No channels or dead spots like in other technologies. The movement is caused by e\ufb03cient aeration. Oxygen is supplied to the bacteria by air blowers placed inside the control room and high e\ufb03ciency disc or plate di\ufb00users at the bottom of the aeration zone.
